ESG INITIATIVES
UniHealth lays great emphasis on its ESG Initiatives and has set up compost pits to recycle domestic wet waste into manure across all its hospital facilities. The Group has outlined investment to set up solar rooftop panels across all its hospitals by June 2024 and aims to achieve recycling of 100% paper & plastic waste by December 2024. The 500+ workforce of the Group comprises of 95%+ employment from within local communities aimed at skill upgradation and knowledge transfer.
CSR ACTIVITIES
Adopted from the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDG), the Groups aims to provide 'Healthcare to All'. In line with this vision, UniHealth has partnered like-minded organizations to facilitate free surgeries for pediatric patients suffering from congenital cardiac conditions and physical disabilities. The Group also organizes 'Free Medical OPDs' for patients unable to access quality healthcare services in view of economic constraints across all its facilities and promotes health educations.
ACCREDITATIONS
Ensuring the highest levels of Quality across all its verticals has been the cornerstone of the Group's business initiatives. To achieve the highest levels of quality standards, UniHealth has continuously adopted internationally benchmarked norms and protocols and as a recognition of the same, has received ISO accreditation for its various verticals. The flagship hospital of the Group, UMC Victoria Hospital is also accredited by the United Nations to extend services to its workforce.
